Murray Osorio PLLC is proud to announce the promotion of Megan Herndon to Partner. With more than two decades of experience across nearly every facet of immigration law, Megan brings an extraordinary depth of government and litigation experience to the firm. Prior to joining Murray Osorio, Megan served as Assistant Chief Immigration Judge in Richmond, Virginia, where she supervised 97 Immigration Judges and hundreds of court staff while continuing to hear her own docket. She also held senior leadership roles in the Department of State Visa Office, including Deputy Director of Legal Affairs, overseeing legal guidance provided to U.S. consular officers worldwide.
Megan’s distinguished career also includes service with the Department of Homeland Security and the former Immigration and Naturalization Service, where she worked as both a trial and appellate attorney after entering through the Attorney General’s Honors Program. In addition to her government service, Megan has dedicated years to teaching immigration law as an Adjunct Professor at Northern Virginia Community College. Her promotion reflects not only her exceptional legal acumen and leadership, but also her longstanding commitment to the immigration law community and the clients Murray Osorio proudly serves.
