About
Erika Arce-Romero is a Senior Attorney at Murray Osorio PLLC, where she primarily handles federal litigation and removal defense.
Prior to joining Murray Osorio, Erika worked as a Managing Attorney at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) in Washington, D.C. In this role, Erika advised staff attorneys and pro bono attorneys on immigration matters before federal court, immigration court, and family court. Before joining KIND, Erika worked as a Trial Attorney at the Office of Immigration Litigation (OIL) within the U.S. Department of Justice where she handled a variety of complex individual cases and class actions and appeared before dozens of federal district courts. Erika initially joined the U.S. Department of Justice under the Honors Program, where she served as a Law Clerk within the Executive Office of Immigration Review. In this role, Erika advised and drafted opinions for immigration judges at the Newark, Baltimore, and Hyattsville Immigration Court. After graduating law school, Erika was accepted into the Immigrant Justice Fellowship program and served as a Fellow at the KIND-NY office where she represented unaccompanied minors who sought humanitarian relief.
