About
Raised in Puerto Rico and a first-generation attorney, Gabriela M. Soto Cotto is an immigration attorney dedicated to advocating for individuals and families navigating the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. She is committed to providing compassionate and effective representation to clients facing life-changing legal challenges.
Gabriela has experience handling a wide range of immigration matters, including asylum, family-based immigration, adjustment of status, naturalization, humanitarian relief, and removal defense. As a Student Attorney in the Immigration Clinic, she represented noncitizens in removal proceedings and gained firsthand experience advocating for vulnerable populations. She also interned with the Arlington County Public Defender’s Office, where she developed valuable litigation skills and a deep appreciation for the importance of zealous advocacy and access to justice. During law school, Gabriela served as Co-President of the Latin American Law Students Association and was actively involved with the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
