Alexandra Gandara Kraemer

Senior Attorney

Alexandra "Ali" Gandara Kraemer is a senior attorney who focuses on affirmative filings, including family-based, naturalization, adjustment of status, U visas, waivers, affirmative asylum, and other humanitarian applications. She has worked on appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and litigated successful immigration matters for clients seeking asylum, cancellation of removal, permanent residence, and reopening of prior removal orders.

Ali graduated from the University of St. Thomas, in her home state of Minnesota, with a triple major in Political Science, International Relations, and Middle Eastern Studies. She received her juris doctor from the University of Wisconsin.

Ali has centered her career around helping society's most vulnerable populations.

During law school, she worked with the Wisconsin Innocence Project, where she worked on wrongful convictions. She also interned at the Legal Aid headquarters in New York where she did policy work on post-conviction relief.

After completing law school, Ali was an assistant district attorney in Wisconsin, working solely on domestic violence cases. She began her work in immigration law in 2019 by helping F-1 students attending the University of Wisconsin adjust their status or continue their education.

Soon, Ali decided to solely focus her practice to immigration law and before joining Murray Osorio, worked on affirmative and removal defense cases in Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and the DMV area.
