About
Paola is an immigration attorney at Murray Osorio PLLC, where she focuses on removal defense, with a particular emphasis on humanitarian relief. She is part of the firm’s detained removal defense team, representing clients in bond proceedings, credible and reasonable fear interviews, asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, and other forms of relief.
During law school, Paola served as a student attorney in the Immigrant Rights Clinic, interned with Kids in Need of Defense, and volunteered with organizations including the Esperanza Center, Kennedy Krieger Institute, and AMICA Center for Immigrant Rights. She also clerked for several solo immigration practitioners and was a fellow in the MSBA-UB Business Law Clerkship Program. Additionally, Paola competed on the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team and received the Dean’s Citation for outstanding service to the school and community.
Paola remains committed to pro bono work and continues to volunteer with organizations such as Las Americas, and the Chesapeake Multicultural Resource Center.
