We are proud to announce that Courtney Moran has joined Murray Osorio PLLC as a Senior Attorney. Courtney is a skilled litigator with more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of immigration law and federal litigation. She has practiced before immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, numerous federal district courts, twelve federal circuit courts, and the United States Supreme Court—with a focus on complex immigration litigation, including Administrative Procedure Act claims, jurisdictional questions, and immigration detention issues.
Prior to joining Murray Osorio, Courtney served as Senior Litigation Counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Immigration Litigation, and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where she handled complex individual cases and class actions.
Courtney also previously represented noncitizens in removal proceedings at the National Immigrant Justice Center and has supervised and mentored attorneys and law students.
