While attending law school, Shelby was a recipient of a Summer Human Rights Fellow, where she focused on pro bono asylum cases in the Washington, D.C. area.
Upon graduation, she was a Justice Fellow through the Immigrant Justice Corps., a prestigious national fellowship providing quality immigration representation at nonprofit organizations throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Murray Osorio, she worked as an Immigration Attorney handling her own caseload in various areas such as asylum, family-based applications, and VAWA.
She is originally from Buffalo, New York, where she spent time volunteering at a local resettlement agency assisting newly arrived refugees. In her free time, she enjoys Latin dancing and spending time with her dog.
