Her professional journey is deeply rooted in her personal story, and having an understanding of the immigrant experience fuels her passion for helping others navigate the complexities of immigration.
Cherlyn currently serves as a key member of the Detained Team, where she handles all detained matters involving clients in custody of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). Her work in this high-stakes area requires not only deep legal knowledge but also resilience, precision, and empathy. In addition to her casework, Cherlyn is actively involved in mentoring junior paralegals, providing support and guidance as they navigate their roles.
Outside of work, Cherlyn embraces her adventurous spirit by traveling to new destinations and exploring diverse cuisines from around the world. When she's not traveling, you can often find her hiking scenic trails, where she finds peace and inspiration in the beauty of nature.
