About
Courtney Moran is a skilled and versatile litigator with more than 15 years of experience working at the intersection of immigration law and federal litigation. She has practiced in multiple immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, dozens of federal district courts, 12 federal circuit courts, and the Supreme Court. Courtney is an expert in several immigration litigation areas, including jurisdictional questions, claims under the Administrative Procedure Act, and the constitutional and statutory contours of immigration detention. She has also supervised and mentored numerous other attorneys and law students throughout her career.
Prior to joining Murray Osorio, Courtney served as a Senior Litigation Counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Immigration Litigation and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
