Us Imposes $15,000 Visa Bond on 15 Mostly African Countries

Murray Osorio Senior Attorney, Alexandra Ribe, was interviewed by TRT World about the State Department’s pilot program, set to begin on December 24, 2020 and run for 6 months, that would impose up to $15,000 bonds on people wanting to visit the United States. The bonds will be imposed on nationals of countries with a higher percentage of visa overstays, including 15 African countries. The interview can be found here.
